Rebuild Pajarito!

Pajarito Mountain Ski Area is rub by the Los Alamos Ski Club, which is a not for profit organization.   Most of the small hometown local ski areas in the USA have gone out of business over the past 60 years, leaving mainly the larger ski areas which survive on real estate and shopping revenue more than on ski revenue.  Pajarito Mountain has not only survived, but thrived over the years in large part due to local volunteer work for the ski patrol and also to cut trails, help with lifts, finish the interior of the new lodge, and trim new growth from the trails.

The Las Conchas Fire of 2011 did considerable damage to the ski area, and we are thus redoubling our efforts to ask volunteers to step up and help us rebuild.
